Those who aren’t familiar with graphite, the HB scale, or beginner drawing techniques would benefit from taking my first 2 classes, “Intro to Dramatic Graphite Botanicals” and my intermediate class, “Blending Techniques for Naturalistic Graphite Drawing”. before taking this class.
Here's how this advanced class is structured!
Module 1 - Getting Started
you’ll get an overview of the class as well as an introduction to all of the materials that we’ll be experimenting with.
Module 2 - Exploring Texture Techniques
In this module, we’ll be exploring all of the texture tools and techniques that we’ll be using throughout our class projects including clouds, skies, trees, water, rocks, and grasses.
Module 3 - Class Project 1 - Grassy Meadow Landscape
In this module, we’ll be putting our skills to the test in our first class project. We’ll be creating this landscape scene of a sunlit grassy meadow with sunbeams bursting from the horizon.
Module 4 - Class Project 2 - Tree & Misty Mountains Landscape
In this module, we’ll be completing our second class project: a landscape scene of a lone, craggy tree set against a backdrop of misty mountains.
Module 5 - Class Project 3 - Waterfall & Rocky Stream Landscape
In this module, we’ll be completing our third and final class project: a landscape scene showcasing a waterfall flowing into a rocky stream.
Module 6 - Summary & Next Steps
In this module, I’ll be showing you how to protect your newly created artworks and sharing some next steps to help keep you moving forward in your artistic journey.
